Journals Aren't Just for Teenagers

Never underestimate the power of the written word. For a month, try keeping a journal every time you go out and shoot. Once you come back, BEFORE YOU LOOK AT THE PICTURES, write a little about what you did, where you went, what you saw, and what you hope your images turn out like. Why? So once you know what they turned out like, you can look back at your journal, and it will help you figure out what you can do different next time - or the same!
